As the Pharma Sales Executive in Northern Germany you will be the commercial lead on a subset of strategically important pharma, biotech and services accounts. Reporting to the regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a seamless partnership to maximise all aspects of the relationship, including adoption and use of 10x products, financial performance and business growth, customer satisfaction, and product/technology development and optimisation.
Assigned to a subset of named large pharma customers, you will be responsible for achieving sales quota while building a long-term strategic partnership with all levels of your customer’s organisation. You will ideally live in the territory and have strong customer relationships within our current market.
What you will be doing:
- Achieve sales growth and objectives within assigned accounts across the entire 10x portfolio.
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction as well as up-sell and cross-sell potential within assigned key accounts to maximise share of wallet
- Set goals for the account team, provide feedback, and facilitate communication between 10x and each account
- Provide business insight and value to retain customers and ensure customer relationships
- Coordinating pre-sales and post-sales follow up
- Understand the competitive dynamics within the account and lead development and implementation of strategies and tactics that best position 10x Genomics technology and products to neutralise competitor growth
- Responsible for maximising the strategic business relationship, both short term and long term, by aligning the customer’s mission and goals with successful utilisation of current and future 10x technology
- Builds and executes strategic account planning with their territory team that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period
- Work collaboratively with Business Development, Product Marketing, Field Sales, and Field Application Scientists to drive opportunities and awareness in assigned accounts
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Negotiate all sales opportunities within company established parameters for the assigned key accounts and generate associated sales contracts and quotations
- Manage the sales process including pricing management, project pipeline visibility, product and revenue forecasting, order transactions, and ship schedules
- Provide 10x Sr. leadership & management with regular feedback on account status and key initiatives
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
- Navigate orders through the customer purchasing process and provide accurate sales forecasts; while keeping the CRM system up to date for sales opportunities as well as engaged selling activities and market data

Sales Executive
We are seeking a Sales Executive in the Greater Boston area, for a field sales-based position responsible
for the territory sales plan. The Sales Executive will have strong technical knowledge in the area
of Next Gen Sequencing and will demonstrate technical credibility to effectively consult with
customers to influence key decisions on technology and product choices. Strong business
acumen is required to build successful account and territory plans and translate territory strategy
into business results. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of account relationships with
key thought leaders in the Next Gen Sequencing space and experience calling on biotech accounts.
What you will be doing:

buying practices required to effectively compete in the assigned territory.
• Utilizes product and application knowledge across the genetic analysis portfolio to
successfully conduct selling presentations.
• Assist in the identification and recruitment of new salespeople as required.
• Ensure that customers are fully satisfied.
• Represent the company professionally, ethically, and morally at all times.

Tenders and Bids Specialist
As the Tenders Specialist you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the process of responding to tenders and proposals. You’ll collaborate with your colleagues across various internal functions to draft high-quality responses, conduct market research, and manage deadlines whilst maintaining clear communication to stakeholders.
To be successful you’ll need to have good time management and prioritisation skills and thrive within a fast-paced environment. You will need demonstrable knowledge of commercial business processes in complex selling environments (e.g. Quote and Proposal Management, and Contract Management), ideally in the life sciences industry. It would be advantageous if have excellent writing and organisational skills.
What you will be doing:

- Draft and develop persuasive and compelling responses to RFPs and tenders, adhering to provided guidelines and specifications
- Collaborate with translators to ensure accurate translation of documents from languages other than English, maintaining clarity and coherence
- Manage a complex docket of tender and proposal deadlines, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely submission of responses
- Maintain a schedule of upcoming tenders and proposals, tracking progress and communicating with stakeholders regarding deadlines, milestones, and outcomes
- Liaise with purchasing departments, negotiating terms and conditions, pricing, and contractual requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends to enhance the quality and effectiveness of responses
